I'm a New York-based financial journalist covering the private equity industry for Bloomberg News. I've also contributed to Bloomberg Businessweek and Bloomberg Television.
My previous writing appeared in The Wall Street Journal, reporting from New Delhi; the San Jose Mercury News; Korea JoongAng Daily, reporting in Seoul; and The Stanford Daily, where I was president and editor-in-chief. I received a B.S. in management science and engineering, with a concentration in technology and policy, from Stanford University. My senior thesis, an analysis of India's response to the Maoist-Naxalite insurgency, earned honors distinction in international security studies.
Originally from Southern California, I enjoy playing tennis, exploring New York and, when time and family permit, flying single-engine airplanes.
